A Multidisciplinary Approach to Long-Term Oral Health
Bringing together experienced international and Vietnamese dental professionals, our team works collaboratively across disciplines under the clinical leadership of Dr. Andrew H.F. Tsang, BSc, DMD, (Canada) Dip ICOI (USA).
Since 2009, Westcoast International Dental Clinic has brought together international and Vietnamese dental professionals with training and clinical experience across Canada, Sweden, Germany, Austria, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Australia and Vietnam.
Working across implant dentistry, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, periodontology, endodontics and oral surgery, our clinicians collaborate to develop coordinated treatment plans for both routine and complex cases. Care is supported by digital treatment planning, an in-house dental laboratory and communication for international patients before, during and after treatment.

Dr. Andrew’s Treatment Philosophy:

MULTIDISCIPLINARY DENTAL TEAM
The Westcoast dental team brings together clinicians with training and experience across multiple areas of dentistry. For cases requiring more than one area of expertise, relevant clinicians collaborate within a coordinated treatment-planning process:
IMPLANT DENTISTRY & ORAL SURGERY
RESTORATIVE & COSMETIC DENTISTRY
ORTHODONTICS & INVISALIGN CLEAR ALIGNERS
PERIODONTOLOGY, ENDODONTICS & COMPREHENSIVE CARE
Multidisciplinary Case Collaboration for Complex Treatments:
For complex dental conditions such as full-mouth tooth loss, severe bone loss, significant bite discrepancies or extensive tooth wear, treatment planning may involve input from several disciplines:
- •Orthodontic and periodontal input is included where tooth position, gum health or supporting tissues need to be addressed before definitive treatment.
- •Implant clinicians plan and place implants according to the available bone and the planned final teeth.
- •Restorative dentists and the in-house laboratory work from the planned final teeth backwards so the surgical and restorative stages can be coordinated where appropriate.
This coordinated workflow helps align surgical and restorative decisions, avoid unnecessary treatment where possible, and support a maintainable long-term result.
